The AEC CHESS CLUB is presently one of the most active clubs working tirelessly and efficiently among all the working clubs of Assam Engineering College. Any student showing interest in learning as well as playing this game of the mind called CHESS is directly or subtly making this Club grow.

We ambition for the club continues to offer a robust assortmemt of opportunities and hold the glorious history of the students of this premier college.

The club is established by the students of our college – Durlav Kalita, Rituraj Borgohain, Anubhav Deva Sarma and Rishav Deuri , who are already professional chess players. Over the years, the club continued to stand over the octaves and accomplish new objectives day by day.

Started by a group of four, the club is now a family of 70+ passionate members. It's a time ripe with possibility. And because you want to squeeze every last drop out of your college experience, you're prepared to seize as many opportunities as you can.
